Were you looking for information about Viral Meningitis? Virel meningitis is a common misspelling of viral meningitis.

Viral meningitis is a serious illness that occurs when certain viruses cause an infection within the tissues that cover the brain and spinal cord. The symptoms of this condition vary from person to person, but may include drowsiness or confusion, fever, and nausea. Enteroviruses, the most common cause of viral meningitis, are most often spread through direct contact with respiratory secretions (such as saliva, sputum, or nasal mucus) of an infected person.
