Menningitis

Were you looking for information about Meningitis? Menningitis is a common misspelling of meningitis.

Meningitis is an infection of the fluid surrounding the spinal cord and brain. When an infection occurs here, it can lead to inflammation, which can harm or destroy nerve cells and cause bleeding in the brain. Symptoms of the condition may include high fever, sleepiness, and headache. Meningitis is most often caused by viral or bacterial infections; people with viral meningitis usually recover on their own, while those with bacterial meningitis can take antibiotics to treat the inflammation.
